A seven-year-old Palestinian girl in the Gaza Strip was killed on Thursday when she was struck by a shell fired from an Israeli occupation tank.
Hyam Ayash died and at least 11 people sustained wounds in the incident according to the report, one of them seriously, when the tank fired a mortar towards a target near Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
An Israeli occupation military spokeswoman said that there was an exchange of fire in the sector, without confirming or denying that a tank had been involved.
