Israeli occupation soldiers dropped down on Monday evening chemicals with an unpleasant smell on the roofs of houses in the area of Tel Rumeida in downtown Hebron in the occupied West Bank.

"Israeli soldiers daily ascend rooftops in the neighborhood, and sometimes this happens more than once during the day", said one resident.

He stressed that Israeli soldiers repeatedly dumped unknown bad-smelling chemicals on the roofs of buildings, noting that these chemicals have different colors.

Another resident said that Israeli soldiers attack him on a daily basis when he goes in or out the neighborhood, noting that they subject him to daily strip search, detention, and ID card check whenever he goes in or out of his house.

He also said that Israeli soldiers usually ascend houses rooftops and attack their inhabitants under the pretext of providing security for settlers.
