Israel limits family attendance to Palestinians funeral

Israeli Occupation authorities limited attendance to the funeral of a 20 year old Palestinian from Jabal Al-Mukabbir killed by border police to 15 family members. The boy was killed last week in an area where Occupation forces demolished a Palestinian home.

Occupation police claimed Uweisat charged officers at a checkpoint in Sur Bahir. The incident happened after IOF forces demolished the home of Husam Taysir Dwayat, a Palestinian construction worker shot deader after a bulldozer rampage in Jerusalem last summer killed 3 Israelis.

Iyad Uweisat's family received their sons body Tuesday morning after a week of being held in Israeli custody.

All 15 family members allowed to attend were searched and escorted. Israel rejected the family request to schedule the funeral Wednesday so other family members could attend.
