Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli forces apprehended two Palestinian brothers from Safa village, near Hebron after raiding one of their houses Friday night.
Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli Forces (IF) stormed the house of Khalil Abu Daya and arrested his sons Mohammed, 19, who suffers a mental disability and his brother, 21.
The IF cuffed and blindfolded the two bothers, taking them to unknown place.
During the last month, more than 280 Palestinian citizens were arrested in the West Bank by Israeli soldiers. There are 11.000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, including children, women, patients, and lawmakers.
The Israeli soldiers conducted house-to-house searches in the West Bank village of Safa, following an attack in the nearby Jewish settlement of Bat Ayin, Thursday, April 2, 2009. The attack resulted in killing a 13-year-old Shlomo Nativ and moderately injured another seven-year-old boy.
